Clementine 10th Anniversary x Vagabond

Clementine is turning 10, and we’re celebrating by bringing things full circle.

Roger was the Executive Chef at Clementine when it first opened, so for one weekend only, Vagabond is taking over the kitchen to revisit some of the dishes that helped shape Clementine in its early days with a few Vagabond twists along the way.

Join us for a special three-night celebration featuring classic Clementine dishes, fan-favourite cocktails, and plenty of champagne!

September 5-7

Saturday, September 5th: 5pm–1am: Walk-ins only

Sunday, September 6th: 5pm–midnight - Limited Reservations available online, Walk-ins available

Monday, September 7th: 5pm–1am - Limited Reservations available online, Walk-ins available

Food service will run until one hour before closing.

Last night of our Bistrot Burger pop-up collaboration with @madebymarcus & @juiceimports!

Mark from @juiceimports will be in-house all night chatting wine and helping you find the perfect pairing. We’ve had the talented @elysejcolv behind the bar all weekend, and tonight we’re wrapping things up with @jordanleeclemens on bar!

This is our final pop-up before we take a little break to get married! 🥂 Come by, grab a burger, have a glass, and help us celebrate one last service before the wedding.

Spend a late summer afternoon with @vagabond_popups at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park for
Le Grand Picnic!

We’ll do the shopping and pack the picnic, you simply bring a blanket, a bottle of wine and good company. We’ll take care of the rest.

Each French-inspired picnic basket serves two, with the option to add additional guests. Pick yours up from our reserved picnic site, settle in at one of the shared tables beneath the canopy or wander off and find your own favourite spot in the park.

We’ll provide picnic tablecloths, candles, music, campfires and everything you need to enjoy your basket, including disposable plates, napkins, cups and serving utensils.

Along with the menu, Picnic guests will also receive 10% off @colordevino_yeg with proof of purchase, so be sure to pick up your wine, beer or other drinks before arriving.

Picnic Basket Optional add-ons:
 Jalapeño-cheddar sausages from @okiedokiesmokies.ca to roast over the campfire.

@delavoyechocolate S’mores Kit with House-made graham crackers, marshmallows and bean-to-bar chocolate for four exceptionally delicious s’mores.

We’ll provide the fires and roasting sticks!

Our guests will have access to nearby Baseball Diamond #2 AP, so bring your gloves, bat and ball if you’d like to play.

Rain or shine. Baskets will be handed out beneath our covered canopy. Stay and picnic with us, or take your basket home if the weather isn’t cooperating.

Join us June 27 & 28 as we transform the café into a lively neighbourhood pizzeria, serving naturally fermented sourdough pizzas, seasonal sides, and desserts.

This Father’s Day, we’ve teamed up with @irrationalbrewing to put together a BBQ Box built around our favourite way to cook: over the grill

Treat your dad, or someone special in your life, to a feast featuring beechwood smoked Alberta beef back ribs from @coreythebutcher , ready to be finished with our house BBQ glaze, alongside buttermilk cornbread with jalapeño butter, local asparagus, @lakeside_farmstead cheese curd scalloped potatoes, a classic wedge salad, and rhubarb & buckwheat crumble for dessert. TARTE AU SUCRE D’ÉRABLE 🍁

Our take on the classic sugar tart.

We made the tart dough using rendered Berkshire pork lard following Rogers’ Mémère’s pie dough recipe.

The filling is a rich blend of maple, cassonade, and cultured kefir cream. The cultured cream gives the tart a nice tang, balancing what’s usually a very sweet treat!

Featured as part of our Easter Sugar Shack Box this past weekend.

TRUITE-CHOïADE FUMÉ
truite fumée “anchoïade”, panisse, truite au b.b.q

Snack course from our recent Quebec pop-up, inspired by our time in the Pyrenees.

Nova Scotia trout smoked & cured like anchovies, turned into anchoïade blended QC cold pressed sunflower oil. Served on crispy panisse made with MB chickpea flour & QC Montebello lake trout grilled over charcoal.

If you’re into dipping hamburgers in cheddar fondue, @netflixandchell Choogle Dogs with raclette, or crispy schnitzel shrimp, this one’s for you.
